The first time we were in Liw-liwa we stayed at La Zerena (it is now very much upgraded as of today and have more rooms choices to choose from – prices ranges from Php 800 – 2000 per person)

Other options you may look at and based from the recommendations of my friends as well are as follows :

  • La Zerena Beach
  • Sunny Side Up
  • Good Karma
  • Kapitan Sitio Liwa

CIRCLE HOSTEL ZAMBALES

The Circle Hostel

Me and my best friend tried Circle Hostel in Liw-liwa, they have bunk beds or hammocks available. No room is airconditioned but it was just still fine.

It was hot and the weather is humid between 12nn – 4pm. Here’s some snap of the hostel.

With the bean bags and hammock, this is the only area where you could charge for your gadgets.

Who cares? if you have no wi-fi or signal access in Liw-liwa to update with? (*Yes, close to no signal at all in Liw-liwa)

Common CR

They have common CR, one for ladies and one for male. What is good about it as well is the fact that it has Hot Shower 🙂 Separate area for the toilet room also which makes it pretty convenient. If you value privacy more than anything — this might not be the best option for you.

It is not the typical Circle Hostel you’ll see in La Union or Baler.

LIMLIWA BEACH RESORT

Another new discovery in Liwliwa, is “Limliwa beach resort” — (*thanks to my friend Paul for introducing this place to me as well)

Visited this place just last October 2019,  my personal blog link : IN MY ELEMENT. BEACH TRIP TO LIWLIWA, ZAMBALES

This is located just within Liwliwa, just tell the tricycle driver to drop you off here.

In our case, you can also bring a car and park it just within the kubo place you are staying with. What I love about this place :

  • it is beach front
  • very laid back atmosphere
  • super cheap for an overnight stay
  • the common area is a place you shouldn’t miss at the second floor (*photo reference below

You may book via their facebook page and ask for the availability on the rooms and rates.

We booked for the 3 pax kubo with fan only, worth Php 1,500.00 per night (*just Php 500 per person) it comes with the mattress inside it, a small sala or common area to mingle with. There is a common bathroom which is just an okay (*considering how cheap it is!!)

There were still more options to look at when you’re staying in Liwliwa, at some point I am even dreaming of having my own hostel in this area.

Since I consider it as my favorite go-to beach near Manila — I’ll look forward into fulfilling that dream of mine.

I’ll keep updating this blog for more options as I try more accommodation in the near future.
